Who cares ? There is no justification...

This is a bit of a silly statement.. there is justification in some circumstances to hit a woman. Obviously this Mixon character is not an example of that and he appears to be a total scumbag... but generalized statements like yours can be dangerous

My friend is a crossfit coach and works with female athletes that are pretty damn muscular... like, way more muscular and stronger than most average men who don't work out like it's their job...

Well, one of the girls was taking steroids and she flat out assaulted and messed a guy up pretty badly, without provocation... one of the reasons the guy got so badly beaten is because of messages like yours that suggest A) men can't be victimized and B) that women aren't capable of violent acts...

He was confused and didn't know what to do, because society has shoved it down his throat his whole life that it's "NEVER OK" to hit a woman... so he sat there and got absolutely pounded on.. im talking multiple broken bones, broken jaw, etc

So your statement is not correct.. if a female tries to assault or harm another person, including a man, it is very much ok to try and punch them out or incapacitate them in some way..

If my wife and I were out walkong, at a movie or whatever and anyone tried to assault her.. whether it's a guy or girl, I would punch them repeatedly in the face until they're unconscious

Rhonda Rousey domestically battered her boyfriend on multiple occasions and is just as big of a pile of garbage as any man that hits a woman..

This is 2017... people are capable of hurting other people in different ways.. there is no special treatment because of your gender.. if you're a violent piece of garbage, you should be treated as such

Some old school traditionalists will probably have issue with me stating that but whatever...I've seen enough crazy **** happen in my life that I was personally witness to that makes me laugh at the statement "it's never ok to hit a woman"

For the record, before some white knighter tries to put me down, I've never raised my hand/fist or anything to another PERSON ever in my life (other than when I was training in Muay Thai with my sparring partner).. that includes men and women... I'm not a violent person, I would try to seek out almost any alternative than to engage in violence... but I also know Muay Thai and if I had no other choice, I would respond to violence against me or someone I care about with the fury of 1000 suns if I HAD to, and that includes someone with a vagina

I just thought the comparisons were interesting. If I had my choice, I'd rather have Charles at this point than AP. At least Charles can pass protect and he has more use in the passing game.

Yeah, assuming Charles' knee isn't completely shot I'd definitely be interested in him. Peterson even at his best was good at running out of fairly specific formations, and in every other respect he was a liability. Can't block, can't catch, which is significant issue on any team and a huge issue on any offense that isn't built around him. Charles, OTOH, can do everything that you'd want a Patriots RB to do. Even in their respective primes, without the injury concerns they both have, I would've taken Charles over Peterson without a second thought.

OK, just so everyone's feelings are taken into account, we'll amend the statement

"It's never OK to hit a woman"

to

"99% of the time it's not OK to hit a woman (especially if you play football for a living) with the exception being if she's a UFC fighter or on steroids or if a woman randomly tried to assault your wife at a movie or if it's a female bear that you met on a trail while hiking."

I mean, seems pretty clear cut to me, just don't hit people unless they're actively engaged in violence that's a clear and present danger to you or someone else. Words by themselves are never violence.
