Very strange, RT Jonathan Martin has gone AWOL from Dolphins.

Handed the tab for a $30,000 dinner to a rookie or younger player who probably makes less than most of the other guys. In these kinds of situations the rookie just has to realize that he is a grown man and tell them it ain't gonna happen. You want lobster and porterhouse and champagne? Buy it yourself like a self sufficient man, I'm not your ****** dad.

Having rookies foot the bill for a big dinner check happens all the time. Whether or not the Dolphins have gone overboard with it is something I can't answer.

By all accounts AH was a loner on the Patriots who went his own way, but he was good, so he still got a huge contract, and then managed to **** it all up. But that's a different story. You don't have to acquiesce to that kind of b.s. to make it in the league. Coaches and GMs care about on-field production more than if you're buddy buddy with all the guys.

I wouldn't foot the bill for that kind of tab, especially if it was guys I didn't care for, but that is just me.

You'd foot the bill, because that's the way it is.

You obviously don't know me. But if you're the type to "bend over" or acquiesce, then to each his own.

You are obviously very intelligent, but you don't always have to be so adversarial in your posting style. Its only a message board, not a formal debate.

It's always reassuring to feel that victims "asked for it," and nothing bad like that could ever happen to us. But when the population being victimized consists of men with the mental and physical toughness to make it to the National Football League, it's a little hard to swallow.

All i am saying is that standing up for yourself when you can is part of the equation, nothing more. I don't think that victims "ask for it." It was just a crude figure of speech.

Dolphins announce: "We received notification today from Jonathan (Martin's) reps about allegations of player misconduct." Ask @NFL to review

"OH, Martin? Oh, yes him. Now we remember. Let me look. Oh, yes, him. Well, maybe we should investigate."

Is Igcognito even that good? I don't really think he's worth the trouble.
