I really thought Bolden would be that player that could pick up the slack and catch balls out of the backfield but he's had some really costly drops that have killed drives.

Yeah Bolden ain't ready for prime time in that role...and as you said it has removed a vital dimension from our offense. Imagine that our RB's out of the backfiled on 3rd downs is now an after thought for Defenses.
What stuck out in my mind was the fact that Buffalo had no answer for Vereen in week 1. He also ran with power, authority and was making decisive cuts.The offense will be scoring 30 points a game once we get Vereen and Gronk back in the lineup at the same time. Vereen was a HUGE loss.
