I think it's time for us to make the word "Ventrone" into a verb. You know, if a player is signed and released more than a couple of time in a season, that person is being "Ventroned." You can say "Belichick is Ventroning so and so." Kind of like "Tebowing," but totally different.
It would be great if they activate Marcus Cannon for a game or two, even if he doesn't see any action. It would be a lift for the team and the fans if he was on the sideline tomorrow at Gillette.
The story on Herzlick on 60 Minutes last weekend was very well done and a welcome distraction after the Steelers game. Cannon is apparently cleared to play by the doctors and it would be great to see him patrolling the sidelines and maybe in for a couple of snaps of the ball.
