Update: Curran says Belichick has been on the hot seat since 2019

There's no name calling, those are terms of endearment.

Tom was a Patriot for 20 years of the 23 years Bill has coached the Patriots.

BB drafted Brady. He didn't just appear out of the mist like Excalibur.

Only BB haters try to separate the two, you're clearly a hater.
But you can’t refute the facts

Gronk was retired in 2019.
It was the quickest way to get BB out of his life. Suddenly he loved the game again when he had a chance to play with Brady elsewhere.

Also the Gronk trade to Detroit was prior to the 2018 season. Get your facts straight. Imagine if Brady and Gronk didn't blow that trade up... SB 53 wouldn't have happened.

Just for reference, the Steelers had to rebuild after Ben retired.

They have dealt with the same growing pains the Patriots and every rebuilding team in history have.

It takes 2-3 seasons to turn a team around. Does Tomlin suck now also?

Just dumb...
If you are holding belichick and Tomlin to the same standards, then maybe you’re the BB hater

Rather than being in someone he has no experience with he took 2 coaches that he has a long history with and trusts and felt he could make it work.
And you agreed with him. You talked up Patricia like he was Vince Lombardi. Thought it would work. Wrong!

But you can’t refute the facts
There are no facts.

BB has a winning record with Jimmy G, Matt Cassel and Brissett. Pretty much every QB he's had once his team was rebuilt.

History won't look back on BB's tenure and remove Brady from it... only the haters do that.

When the difference in success is as massive as it is, it needs to be taken into account. Why operate the same as you did when you had Brady when it’s been proven not to work in 10 seasons without him? You are boasting about winning records, vs winning super bowls. It’s ok to say maybe they need to do things differently now that he’s gone

Most rebuilds look like this:

Jimmy Johnson - season one: 1-15 - season two: 7-9
Bill Walsh - season one: 2-14 - season two: 6-10
Chuck Noll - season one: 1-13 - season two: 5-9 - season three: 6-8
Tom Landry - season one: 0-11-1 - season two: 4-9-1 - season three: 5-8-1
Bill Parcells - season one: 3-12-1 - season two: 9-7

You haters are clueless...

There was such a small sample size with all those other guys there's nothing to gauge.

BB drafted Tom, he had his QB for two decades. He was never drafting a QB to replace Tom until 2021 came along.

Brady won seven rings in 23 years... if all it took was a magic QB he would have closer to 23 rings.

The sample size is pretty large actually, he’s coached 10 seasons without Brady. I’d say he’s been operating the same as normal, just without the success

So are you holding BB to the same standard as Tomlin or no? Don’t you think he should be better? Reid doesn’t seem to have any issues rebuilding teams.

He was the last coach to put Cleveland in the playoffs then the owner moved the team to Baltimore. He had the Pats in the playoffs in 2021. Tom won 8 games last season without Arians, Tom thinking he didn't need Bruce was no more foolish than BB thinking Patricia could do the job... they both won 8 games.

Andy won 5 games his first year, he's had 4, 5, 6, 8, 8 and 9 win seasons.

Do you bother to look this stuff up before you vomit all over these pages?

Huh? Reid took over a 3-13 eagles team, had his 1 year to implement his system, and went to the playoffs 5 straight years after that, including 4 straight CCgs and a Super Bowl. He then took over a 2-14 chiefs team, went 11-5 his first year and missed the playoffs once since then. Not sure what you’re talking about

Jimmy G got traded at the end of his rookie deal.
If you can call it that. More like Bill threw a tantrum because at that time Kraft was still willing to vouch for Tom so Bill giftwrapped Jimmy to his buddy's son when he could have pursued greater compensation. I guess the best interest of the team wasn't a priority there.

Marty took over a 1-7 browns team mid season, finished the year 4-4 and then made the playoffs 4 straight seasons. Another guy you don’t want to mention when talking about the dumpster fire browns
