He had a Super year with all the injuries to 49ers Wide Receivers... I would see if he's available in a Trade: Thoughts...

Fair question. He basically was the backup Aiyuk and did a good job. He did get a little banged up, though - but what 49er didn't get banged up last year?

He doesn't solve your WR1 issue but he's better than Bourne, who is likely still penciled in as your current WR2.

I doubt he's realistically available. Aiyuk has the type of injury that limits you in your first year back. Deebo might be gone for cap and looks like a developing headcase anyway. SF is still win now so they're going to want productive players. I can't see him being traded for the type of return that would make sense for us. I'm sure we COULD make them an offer they'd take but we shouldn't

Mouth of the south Bourne is a #4 WR Ross.

I liked him but when Bourne was in the same position, I liked him also. Look how that turned out, so I'm scared to go that way a second time.

Aiyuk is banged up and Deebo is toast and probably cut this offseason. Doubt they’re trading away receivers.

That would be too bad if Deebo is done. He was unbelievable when healthy.

That's a good point, SF probably can't afford to move him anyway. If they're moving anyone it's probably Deebo, who they'll replace with Pearsall.

I hope we stay clear of that mash unit Deebo Samuel no thanks.

Last time we signed an under the radar niner receiver it was Kendrick Bourne. That did not work out so well.

How about an on the radar top tier WR

IF Deebo Samuel is cut that's a different story in the Offseason. I would be open to bringing him in just not via a Trade.

One of Bill's "Football Guys"

It's a segment on "Inside the NFL" where Clark, Long, and Ocho each pitch a lesser known player to Bill and he picks one each week. Schooler won one week just as an example.

My original thought too: but I think Jauan Jennings is way better.

true he is better. He could be a good #2 or 3.
Like your out of the box thinking.

They’re in a weird place as far as their approach going forward. Some of their stars like Trent Williams, McCaffrey, Kittle, and Jevon Hargrave are aging. Then they have to figure out what to do with Purdy. My guess is they trade for Kirk Cousins and flip Purdy for a pick and stay in “win now” mode for another year or two. I just can’t see them paying Purdy $40 million a year.

You think they would pass on Brock Purdy for that Big Game choke Kirk Cousins?? I don't!!

He's a nice player.. he was the 3rd option at WR.. and he definitely got busy on our DBs.. he has I think a top 5 league YPC average right?

Shanahan has always loved Cousins. Now he’s cheap as far as trade compensation and they can reunite.

He's a 2 or 3 at best. He only got more looks because Aiyuk was gone and Samuel was doing his usual and tapping out of games.
