Steve, I listen to your podcast. Point of order from the last one. All NFL QB's get mic'ed up during the season as part of their contract. It's not up to the team but NFL Films.

The decision to broadcast the "seeing ghosts" comment from Darnold was supposed to be authorized by NFL Films, ESPN and the team. I'm guessing that protocol wasn't followed on Monday night. But getting mad at whoever mic'ed up Darnold or getting mad at Darnold for agreeing to it is misplaced since every QB gets mic'ed up as part of their baseline contract at least once a year.
