Obviously Gronk's injury is a serious concern but I think Edelman and Amendola's status' could be the keys to this game. Brady has got to get the ball out quickly.
Yeah. I think if Gronk can help protect Brady's blind side, be a decoy a bunch of times and make one or two plays, that's all to the good. But E and A have to be able to get open fast or Brady's going to spend the afternoon throwing the ball away or flat on his back on the turf.
IMO, Jackson is the wild card. I posted out here a couple of weeks ago that all they need out of him is one big game or one big play. I'll take it any game.
How safe do you guys think it is for college guys to tailgate (and drink) in the lots around foxboro? Doesn't seem like they'd be able to go around checking everyone with the sheer # of people tailgating
For playoff games, Foxboro PD deploys a large portion of their forces and borrows from other local towns. The staties are also out in force, so you may want to be a little more cautious.
Idk if there's ever been this much uncertainty going into a playoff game. I literally have no idea what to expect. Will gronk be a hobbled shell of himself? Will edelman be close enough to the same edelman that is bradys number one reliable target? Will the oline step it up or continue to look terrible? Is Brady's ankle fine or bothering him more than we know? Will this look like the same patriots team of the last 4 months or a new and improved version? Questions and concerns everywhere. I'm excited regardless tho and pumped!!!

I like Rich Eisen, but just heard him say on NFLN, with video of staff setting up the heated seats in Foxboro, "Officials are going to inspect the Chiefs bench to make sure it isn't pumping AC instead." Joking of course, but nobody laughed. I was annoyed for five seconds but now it is actually kinda funny lol
They usually throw a lot in slippery conditions, it nullifies the pass rush and the receivers have the edge on the defensive backs. I'm feeling very good about this game.
I can't see the EDGE rushers being all that successful today - they'll be busy keeping Smith in the box. I do see Hightower/Collins being used up the middle though as blitzers.
The running game ...AND ALL facets of our offense come down to the play of our OFFENSIVE LINE obviously....and this is our biggest area of concern....the OL play has been horrible the past several weeks and if they can't open holes for the RBs or protect Brady/give him time to throw....KC wins.... The only RB who could make people miss and made big gains despite OL play...was Barry Sanders!!

force the chiefs to drive down the field by not turning the ball over will help a lot. That has been chiefs ammo all season. Force turnovers. and they themselves barely turn over the ball
A little confused by the Gronk stuff. He looked fine two weeks ago and was out and about in his personal life recently, going to Florida and such. He's practiced some, he's been getting treatment. How did it suddenly become some sort of "doom and gloom" situation?
