Good effort, but I pass as a fair-weather fan here in NE, because I waited until 1976 when Steve Grogan got together Cunningham, Calhoun, and some guy named Johnson, who formed a 3-pronged running attack behind Hannah, Gray, and company, to win the division. There have been done less glorious days since then. It takes more than an off-decade to dim our spirits.
Back in the bad old days, the Pats would average 2 good years a decade, at most 3. And as a long time Pats fan, I was happy to have those years. It wasn't until the 90's before we would get up to 50% good years. Now EVERY freakin year is a good year relative to the rest of the league
So now instead of being happy when half our seasons end up as winning, which would satisfy most team' fans. NOW half our seasons are spent at superbowls. NO other team can come close to that.
