Tyquan Thornton thanks us for all the hate and doubt

Gee the 2 morons on my ignore list are still talking about me? Lol. Lmao even.

Rent. Free.
I don't think you're using the list correctly. You said you were going to put me on ignore but I've still noticed you respond to my comments I just figured you didn't actually ignore me. I was kind of hoping I could just call out your BS and not actually have to deal with you but you're obsessed with hate you can't stop yourself.

Bill had no clue about drafting receivers thus Thornton was drafted way higher than he should have been. But that's never the player's fault. Sometimes fans (myself included) forget that and players too.

With that said it's weird that Thornton would flex his role as a depth piece with the Chiefs.

Would you two get a room? Fight or F#$( already this is getting old. Seriously you have both made your points again and again and again and again in every thread on here. Neither of you will ever change the others mind so do the board a favor and put each other on ignore. That's what the function is for.

I LARP which involves a stylized form of sword fighting. Me and this other guy are both really tall with long arms and snipe from range. Except for when we both have an explosive giant first step forward to hammer a gap. Thing is for whatever reason we share a brain on when that moment is and have slammed into each other a dozen times. After enough we have an unwritten agreement, just took a shake of the head and a nod, that we don't fight against each other anymore. We see each other and look for different opponents because it's not going to change and it's not worth it.
Im sorry...I had to.

I probably shouldn’t put this quote here cause I don’t want to get sucked into the fratricidal interaction; but ….,
My post is a Thornton topic. I'm asking you why your hoodied hero couldn't develop him if TT was as great as you want us to think he is. You can't think of a good answer to that cause you're talking out of your ass. I rest my case.

So I was talking w a KC fan coworker about him today. Food for thought:

When I said; some guys just take more time to develop.. „he did nothing for us despite looking good in TC w us too. „

Friend said „yeah agreed, he took more time. well, he was also coached up last year by D-Hop and then JJSS last year & this year. The two of them and JJ particularly get flack for being washed up but they are like coaches in the wr room & still ok 3/4 wr. JJ worked on him a lot. „‚
He Said TT also went to a Mahomes summer camp.

A HC isn’t responsible for training up an individual position. He does hire the position coach though, who is responsible.

But BL: to grade a HC vs another HC based on a single guy‘s development seems kinda silly to me …., but that is this whole BB /anti-BB argument…. silly to me.

I could buy that Thornton was raw and needed some time to develop. Then even more reason to criticize the former GM for picking this kid in the 2nd round or at all if we didn't have the coaching infrastructure to develop him? Matt Patricia was the new OC here when Thornton was drafted and that whole thing was a total faceplant.

But but...BB was shopping for the groceries and had the final say: did you forget??

First 2 responses oh lord. SB1 thx for coming in my direction somewhat., at least in first sentence.

But, As I said; ….. not participating in fratricide. We’re all Pats-fans.
Threw my point in the ring; I’m out. Peace.

Fair. I believe the Patriots do have the right infrastructure here now to develop players so if a Tyquan Thornton was to be picked now I wonder how far they could go developing him.

The poster I was originally responding to is not a serious poster... just a know-it-all clown.

We could have used his 0 targets for 0 yards last night. Dude is really taking the NFL by storm

Thornton is a #4 or #5 WR. How many yards did Williams and Chism have yesterday.

Thornton wasn't good enough to be a #5 for us.

How dare we doubt him and be disappointed in him? How could we give up on him after only THREE YEARS of basically doing nothing. It was never going to work here. Wrong system, wrong culture, just was not a fit.

I don't begrudge him for having some success elsewhere. But this organization took you in the 2nd round and stuck with you 3 years while you did nothing. That is not a lack of belief.

I guess Wussy has no comment today about Thornton’s mvp performance last night. He knew all along he was gonna be one of the great receivers in the league.

They mentioned his no show on the broadcast.
Maybe he was a decoy?
Reid playing chess...

Why does anyone care about boney T? It's not like George Pickens is doing anything in the NFL.

Nothing new here.......it's a common thing that happens in the NFL. One situation may not be ideal for a guy, and then has success when he finds a better situation. And it's not uncommon for them to use the 'negativity' to fuel their fire. I've heard veterans still talk about teams that passed them up in the draft. Most pro athletes are type A personalities. I get it. THey use it drive them.

I'll never be surprised by players calling out or having a bone to pick with this fan base. I'm sorry to say it but led by people like Mike Felger, this fanbase can be downright nasty. It's insane the way this fan base stoops to PERSONAL levels with players and coaches. It's one thing to say a guy isn't a good player, but this media and fan base always twists it into stories about ego and power struggles and lack of dedication. Huge fraction of this fan base treats sports like a reality TV show and there's another that has this weird masculinity complex about athletes and thinks they should be like modern gladiators who are willing to die on the field and any less is an afront to masculinity.

This is probably the best market in the country to be a great player or part of a successful team but it's also probably the WORST market to be a struggling player or part of an unsuccessful team.

I can only speak for myself but I never hated Tyquan Thornton. I was just disappointed by his play, and as Vito Corleone said "good luck to you as best as your interests don't conflict with my interests."

I don't get hating players who didn't pan out here, like the group that just loathes Mac Jones like he murdered their puppy or something. Now players who whine their way out of Foxboro, go to a hated rival or talk **** when they leave THEM I understand hating.

Reid playing hungry hungry hippo...
ftfy, no need to thank me
