Tyquan Thornton thanks us for all the hate and doubt

Like I said, lashing out and misquoting me cause you're triggered. Totally understandable.

Your binky Bill failed without Tom Brady and well on his way to doing the same at UNC. In the Bill vs Brady conversation it was Brady by a first round KO. That's tough for the cult to accept so you're reaching hard for any W for Bill that you can find. So I empathize.
Bill developed Brady. Bill has 8 SB rings. The only losers in this debate are the ones who hate Bill.

He only has 182 yards. Has he become serviceable? Maybe.
Already surpassed his 23 and 24 totals here; his arrow is pointing up ^.

At the end of the day, Thornton is an anomaly. He's one of the few guys who had the physical skills and, honestly, was not a good player out of the gate. He was too small, and he also wasn't as strong as he needed to be.

But rather than quit after failing repeatedly, he kept going. It's been that perseverance that's seen him now flourish under a team that's obviously offense-centric and has a high-caliber player in Mahomes that has helped him be successful. The Chiefs had the luxury of putting him on their practice squad and developing him. The Patriots were a bad team, and desperation ended up taking priority over patience. That and I don't know what KC's receiver coaches are like, but I feel like that also might have helped him. Along with whatever strength program he continues to be on, because he looks like a stronger player.

We can all talk bad about him, but this is one of those times you just have to give it to the guy. He could have just quit and listened to the doubters. But he didn't, and good for him that he's had the success he's had. He's worked hard, and he's earned it.

Tyquan Thornton is proving himself to be a capable #4 receiver on a good team with a great quarterback (and a WR or 2 out of action for various reasons).

Any fair analysis would agree he is not a N'Keal Harry level bust, but certainly drafted much higher than his talents warranted.

And a TD. He can only play the snaps he's given, and be successful with those snaps.

I suspect over time they'll fade Juju some, he's old. Get their fastest players on the field.

Mahomes passed 37 times yesterday. And Thornton got two passes his way.

Rashee Rice comes back in after the next two games. Both Juju and Thornton will lose reps after that. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if Thornton becomes a game day inactive after that.

As I said, his ceiling is 2007 Donte Stallworth who was basically a capable #3/#4 receiver on a good team with a great QB.

We’re talking about Thornton porkchop.

Misquoting me and lashing out just like I said. Paragon of the triggered.

Excellent Post: people better not sleep on KC in the East. Worthy - Rice - Tyquan and Hollywood Brown is a nice group of Receivers. Even Juju is benefiting underneath. They still have a very good Defense. As regards to Tyquan: glad he put in the work in and made himself better.

With a lot of flaws that block him from getting to the next level. That's not a guy I'd pick at #50 but as usual Bill is gonna Bill.

One's vision gets' pretty cloudy looking through those.

You said “Tyquan Thornton may end up being the worst early receiver Bill has taken and that is saying something.”

Turns out it wasn’t the player, it was the QB and team around him. It’s a team sport.
So the QB and team Bill put around him. Got it.

One day you will make a coherent point. Not sure if I will be around to see it but just based on your volume of posts you have to get something at some point.

They have to feel all right surviving Rice’s suspension.

3 games, 3 TD’s… points are more valuable than yards.

I could have caught the TD yesterday. No one covered Thornton. He was wide open.

But again, Thornton is a decent to good #3/#4 WR at best. Let's not overrate the guy.

Again, I wouldn't be shocked if he is game day inactive in three weeks when Rice returns since Thornton doesn't play special teams.

If Thornton continues to play the way he is and they get Rashee Rice back in a couple weeks that is a pretty solid 1-3 receiver group all of a sudden with Rice, Worthy, and Thornton.

Yes Woozy does get very triggered when he's called out on his BS. The lashing out, deliberately misquoting posters to create strawmen and namecalling are all signs of triggering.
