Doesn’t effect me porkchop, I found the ignore feature. It’s a shame for the board though.

Mac and Thornton making Bill's track record the last few years look better.

Nah, Mac still sucks. His game yesterday was garbage, the 49ers won in spite of him. They need Purdy back sooner than later.
And Bill drafted him. Guess that doesn’t say much for him doesn’t it.

While still limited, Mac Jones is looking fairly competent with a pedestrian supporting offensive cast in SF. In fact, he has as many wins this season as Drake Maye has in his career when he starts and finishes a game. That is horrifying.

Thornton is a case where teams get tired of players that aren't available. Many are overlooking the fact that these HC's don't have the cachet to put their eggs in one basket and hope an injury prone player looks competent. This is especially true with QB's. They have a two year window to show something. With that said, the Chiefs offense is still absolutely atrocious. They should get their asses kicked by Baltimore next week.

Mack Wilson has also been a pest in Arizona and was talked about a lot in the AR/SF broadcast.

Yeah it’s not like the Chiefs made Thornton great all of a sudden. He isn’t even close. They’re using him because they’re desperate for receivers.

Exactly. Somebody has to catch the passes with all the injuries. He wasn't awarded the starting job because of his outstanding achievement.

Ditto with Bourne, he caught a couple passes yesterday only because so many guys are out.

Mac Jones yesterday: 65% completions at 6.9 YPA, 1 TD, 1 Interception, 1 safety…

Here’s the 49ers drive results for the entire game:

Punt
Punt
FG
FG
Turnover on downs

These ^ were the first five drives yesterday, this was the first 3 quarters.

The fourth quarter started promising… then fell off the cliff. 4th quarter drives:

TD
INT
Safety
FG

So yeah, the 49ers won in spite of Mac Jones. Nobody ever questioned whether Mac could throw or throw for accuracy… his turnovers is why he sucks. Mac starts strong then falls off a cliff, he’s nearing the cliff’s edge.

I've watched the Chiefs this season and Thorton is the same as always. They say he has elite speed but all I see are guys draped all over him with little to no seperation.

As I previously mentioned, he's not working with much. Aside from Trent Williams, the 49ers O-line has been bad since the Jimmy G years. Jones didn't have Aiyuk, Kittle, or Jennings. They couldn't run the ball and Jones was constantly checking down to McCaffrey because of Pearsall , MVS, Bourne and Sky Moore. Jones threw a deep dime late in the game to Pearsall on a 4th a 2. The pass that was picked off was a bad decision because Pearsall had been running in cuts all game. S read it right away.

In the end, it doesn't matter how you win. He has as many wins this season alone than Maye in his career.

You know he’s a backup right?

Shanahan is doing another good job with a recent cast off. However, like Jones was in NE, he wouldn't have been able to keep up had the Cardinals scored 20+ points in that game. Jones is too dependent on how the defense plays.

Mac is in year five and on his third team, he was tagged as the “most pro ready” QB in his draft class.

Drake Maye in year two was the youngest starting QB in his draft class… are you really comparing the two? Good grief…

Mac has excuses… that’s what Mac has.
