Could it be Ty is always gambling knowing that interceptions are the only confirmable stat for a cornerback?
* He didn't give up a TD all year. All CB's gamble to make picks. That's how they make picks. Have you got any proof he gave up completions because he gambled for a pick? Or just the usual trashing of ex-Boston sports team players? He now has 49 picks which puts him ahead of HOFer's:
Herb Adderley 48
Willie Wood 48
Jimmy Johnson 47
Mike Haynes 46
Jack Christiansen 46
If he continue's to play, and there's no reason to think he won't, and gets 5
more picks in his career, he'd be tied for 7th in picks for HOFer's. Now some of the 16 HOF DB's also were good/great punt/kick returners. I'd think he's close to in. And another Patriot is the HOF is a good thing, IMO.
