I don't think so. For a defamation case, Brady has to show the claim was false and malicious -- that they knew the claims were false. Leaking (and not correcting) false PSI? Hiring Exponent -- a firm with a reputation for returning what the client asks for? True. Brady may not win, but even if the NFL wins, it loses.

That would seem to be enough to get it to discovery. Think the NFL wants to have to answer questions on how this whole investigation originated? What Wells was asked to do for them? Wants all those emails between Kensil and others inside the NFL office made public?

I don't think so. I think it's to the point a head has to roll for this one. I'm starting to think it's Vincent. That rant was incoherent. Now, he's lashing out at the NFLPA?

It is unclear that Brady will ever bring a defamation case. He is likely to bring a case to overturn Goodell's ruling. Those are two different court cases. I am not sure Brady will ever bring a defamation case, but he is almost definitely going to file a case to overturn the suspension.

That is so laughable it isn't even funny. The public confidence in the integrity of the game is probably at an all time low. Everyone thinks Goodell is a liar and makes rulings to satisfy the masses and not out of integrity.

I still don't get why the League front office's talking points always talks about protecting the integrity of the game or the shield. It so disingenuous and everyone laughs at the notion. No regime has done more to tarnish the legacy and credibility of the NFL than the Goodell regime.

The primary purpose of the NFLPA is to assist current and past NFL players in a boatload of different ways...financial...emotional...whatever. Working for the NFLPA means you care about the well being of these people...it's a feeling you have in your heart...you truly care and that is your primary focus.

Switching sides from President of the NFLPA to NFL VP tells me Troy Vincent was a fake all along. He cares more about power then the players.

It seems the NFLPA must hate this guys guts. Recall that Goodell could not do the deal hving to ask Kraft to leave his dying wife because of goodcrap's incompetence.

There's going to be chaos when the union starts pulling out all the stops in a situation where there's supposed to be 5 more years of labor peace.

Even anti-patriots owners are going to see the golden goose getting choked by the crooked and incompetent goodell and his minions.

I really hope Troy's awful comments end up getting more players on Brady's side. The NFLPA is under attack by awful people like Troy and this is proof.
