Trent Brown also not in Germany due to “personal issue” and injury.

Belichick has lost the locker room, that is crystal clear

This might be conjecture from losing games along with a few fringe guys not toeing the line. There hasn't been anything overt a la what happened in Vegas or players barking through the media.

More like the locker room has no leaders who are respected/feared by the other players. In all walks of life an authority figure only has so much leverage if the team they are leading is not accountable and does not take ownership of the situation.

Show me one example ever of when I called a player who wasn’t a patriot lazy.

It’s amazing to me that passive participants glom on to the success and become arrogant fans who turn around and actively trash the team they were lucky enough to have associated themselves to.
It's not trashing the team stinks right now
And if you haven't noticed there's no ultra homers left they abandoned ship
The golden age ended 4 years ago I expected the team to be at least relevant and not thinking about the draft in early November already

touche

Leadership is a huge component of a lockerroom... if its leadership that is lacking amongst the playerbase, then that is on the General Manager

<starts looking thru my notes...... who is the General Manager of the NE Patriots?>

Oh yes.... Bill Belichick

This place is unbelievable. The man has an injury and a personal problem and the haters jump on him. The fan base didn’t deserve the success it was handed.
If you don't like it leave.
typical. Speaks truth you don’t want to hear so you try to run him out.

I have no problem with this. If your team sucks anyway, you don't really lose anything by disciplining good players who break the rules.

Although very plausible I doubt it based on his history. The reactions in here are because of history of being a huge lazy pile of human excriment.
Except that’s not true, it’s a fantasy made up by some fans on here looking for poo to throw.

Here‘s history:

Von Miller, after Trent’s second year in the league:
“He’s the best right tackle in the National Football League,” Miller said, via Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle. “And he may even be a top-five tackle, period, in the National Football League. There’s not another tackle who’s that tall, that big and can move the way he moves.”

Two years later, Trent’s first year with the Patriots, he started 20 games at LT in a season that ended winning the Lombardi.

Following year he signed with the Raiders, had a great year, and was named to the Pro Bowl. Year after that (2020) he played only 5 games because he caught Covid.

He was injured in his first game back with the Pats in 2021, eventually was placed on IR, returned to play 9 games. Last year he played the entire season despite the Fat Matt cluster. He can’t be blamed for that fiasco.

Just 2 1/2 weeks ago he was lauded for his outstanding play:

How can a fan not be a “homer”? Do you really not what them to win?

And yes, piling on a player with a “personal issue” that you have no clue about is absolutely trashing
As I said you are a fan who didn’t deserve the success.

Of course I'm pretty sure 99.99 percent of posters here want them to win or else why waste our time on a Patriot FAN Forum
You have to be really dedicated to the team to be part of a team messaging board unless of course you just come here to troll then that's a separate category all together. You're nobody to be judging how people root, criticize, or blindly follow the team and vice versa so my apologies to you for calling you a Homer but don't be calling me arrogant for criticizing a player that I know has self motivation issues and it's been well documented
It's not trashing when he has a history of giving less than 100 percent

No you don’t know that, which is exactly the point.

I thought so last year when he let Brown and Wynn mail it in every week. Sort of antithetical to what many are opining that BB is too much of an unforgiving hardass. Whatever the eff is going on with BB it is a little more complicated than meets the eye. In fact, it's almost schizophrenic.

The question becomes with their low first round pick in next year's draft a left tackle or a QB???

2018 Trent played the position as well as anyone possibly can but that was before his injuries kicked in. He is still good when healthy but that doesn't seem to be often. Sadly human beings pushing 400 pounds have rough goings whenever they get leg issues. For his longterm health, he should consider retiring and dropping as much weight as possible.

I don't think it is a motivation thing atm. Watch old games of his and he was one of the fastest huge guys on screens and stretch runs but you don't see that anymore because he physically cannot imo.

As you said, anyone that frequents this forum by definition is a homer. Most reasonable fans are Level 1 to 3 homers. Then there's Andy, a Level 5 homer.

"Level Five -- The top of the homer mountain. These are fans that love for their team has blinded them to the extent that anything that comes out of their mouth is completely ridiculous. This level includes trying to justify your team's scheduling of The Citadel, or obsessively basking in the success of a coach that stopped coaching before any of your team's current players were even born. Fans on this level can be considered dangerous to your sanity, especially if their team wins a few games or even a championship. In fact, there needs to be a law that all fans on this level should be put in camps should their team win a title. It's for the good of us all, people."

Andy, we get that you're being emotional again, but for your own sake, give it a rest. This is an open football forum where you can find many different opinions, many of which won't be aligned with your uber homerism fantasy world.

It’s amazing to me that passive participants glom on to the success and become arrogant fans who turn around and actively trash the team they were lucky enough to have associated themselves to.
It's hard to describe posters that were fans of the Pats way before 2001 as "lucky enough" given the history of the team.

Your emotions have you in a tizzy over stuff that isn't important. Get a hold of yourself.

I wonder if Brown and JC Jackson couldn't get the appropriate visa for whatever reason and were rejected by Germany.

Reliability has always been Trent Brown's biggest problem

He just doesnt care much.
