A bit surprising. But shows that his market may not be worth a chance of a low round pick.

Is a mid-$$ 2-yr deal worth it for him, versus a market-setting $$ deal for Higgins or something?
I say yes. We're clearly going to draft a 2nd/3rd round WR (if not roll the dice on Hunter).
We need a solid vet, possession/YAC guy who can win. Adams can still do that to a certain extent.
And we're still going to try to develop Polk or Baker.
If you could get him in the 15 million range for a couple of years, sure. But I'm also pretty sure New England would be pretty low on his list of destinations, if other teams offer similar money.

He just screams 'Kansas City Chief on a one-year prove-it deal'.

Adams should be at the top of the list. I just don’t see him going anywhere other than the team who will sign Rodgers.

Agreed I'm just thinking that.. he's got everything but a ring.. KC may be loading up for another run. I'd love to have him..

IMO, KC is done. The real test to their “ dynasty” has just begun, and I just don’t get the vibe they’ll be able to maintain what they’ve done.

They went all in for the past 3 years. Got carried throughout the process by the league, and were exposed for their real talent level in the superbowl.

My guess is, they won’t be back In the superbowl for at least 3-4 years, if ever again.

I still think the Chargers or wherever Rodgers ends up are more likely landing spots for Davante Adams than KC. Adams wants to be on the West Coast or playing with Rodgers. New Orleans is a possibility if they stick with Carr.
Chargers? Why would they sign Rodgers?

That is very interesting you mentioned this. I've said myself that Mahomes doesn't seem like the same guy.. I know he's had some injuries over the years.. he doesn't seem like he's a pliable if you will type of QB. It seemed like alot of his throws last season were errant. He seemed as if he was laboring alot. That record they has was last season was masked.

Yep. For context, Gronk missed 29 regular season games during his entire tenure here.
Absolutely... that's a lot of games missed.... the desperation to have a real LT has allowed some to over look that Stanley has had durability Concerns. Yes if he's willing to come here sure, sign him. But we will surely need a viable back up. Is also as much as I've been down on lowe he could serve a backup role here.

I don't think Adams is necessarily going to follow Rodgers. It is generally understood that his desire to play on the West Coast is stronger than to play with Rodgers.

Yea he did miss a lot of games. Most were structural- related ( arm, back and ACL)

....but when he played he was a game changer.

You can live with a player that misses 25% of the games if the are difference -makers in the other 75%

if hes interested in signing here, bring him in and see what hes got left
I'd sign him and Godwin, be open for business AND have all my picks for the draft still.

No to Adams!!

No to Adams!!

1. Better than what they have.
2. Won't cost them $120m
3. Will likely be 75% production of your man crush Higgins while costing probably 50% of the cash.
4. Still have all their picks to get better elsewhere
5. With Godwin, Adams, Pop, Bourne and Boutte, they'd have a capable WR room for the first time in fekkin' years.

I told you to not have all your eggs in the Tee Higgins basket.

Adams is fine as a stop gap, if you can get him for like 2/30, short money for that production, and it's only money. He's still an 80+ catch guy.

If he's looking for 25-30 a year, he can go screw off to KC.
