The draft is always a frustrating night as a Pats fan as we always get our hopes up on all of these players and then the mad scientist goes to work and we bounce all over the board and trade for the future and sometimes don't even make a 1st round pick. Nonetheless, here we go again. My belief, and that isn't worth a darn dime, is that we will come out of tonight with 1 pick (made somewhere late in the 1st round) and will trade away 1 of the 1st rounders and the first 2nd rounder. We will then have 2 later 2nd round picks and more picks for next year. We will take an OL (Watkins, Solder, etc) and still have no pass rushers. There will be an outcry on the board and we will wait to see what the mad scientist does tomorrow with the 2 late 2nd round picks.

Starting to look like a genius! Halfway home. Just waiting for us to trade the 2nd pick. Olineman, no pass rusher.

There it is! I am a GENIUS!!!! Belichick is the most predictable guy in the draft. He does the same thing every year. Day 1 is over and we are not a better football team in 2011 than we were in 2010. Still behind the Jets.

But we have Tully Banta Cain..
