Tom Savage "Ready to Go" against Pats

I don't like how everyone is giving Houston absolutely no chance to win this game.
I'm not "giving them no chance", it's just a mismatch at QB between Brady and whichever of these guys Houston puts out there.

I know...BB seems to be sound asleep for this game. It's not like he just assumed last week that the Pats would be playing the Texans.

Just gamesmanship so that it gives us more to prepare for.

Doesn't matter. One is a paintball gun and the other is a BB gun. Neither is going to do much damage. I think Savage is slightly better than Assweiler simply because he seems willing to try to push the ball to Hopkins down the field. But their offense is still nothing to worry about.

Correct. I don't want this to be another 2010 jets situation when the team underestimates their opponent.

Dunno if they underestimated the Jets but that defense sucked big time.

Aha! This is their ploy - make the Pats prepare for 2 QBs. I'm not sure one is that much better than the other.

Agreed. Luckily I am sure the team isn't giving them absolutely no chance. Brady & BB certainly remember the Jets debacle in 2010.

Going to hammer the Texans under for the poimts

ya........cuz my opinion matter I should be very careful.......wowsers, the Texans sure look tough......I mean we beat them by 27, but Brissett isn't going to play so I am going to wear a diaper before and during the game to avoid soiling the furniture as I see JJ Watt pacing around

be vewwy vewwy careful

Has there ever been a team as fickle and flighty about choosing a QB as the BOB-led Texans?

I wonder. "Fickle and flighty" in public messages to the opponent who has to prepare for you doesn't necessarily mean it's the same behind the scenes.

Exactly. Why in God's name would they WANT to tell the Patriots who their starting QB is now? Make them prepare for both.

Been in the Texans broadcast area since BOB arrived. The QB situation has been a soap opera. Granted there are externalities like the owner, the gm, injuries. But BOB's management of the situation, year after year, has been indistinguishable from random.

Shane Lechler took his HS to state as QB...just sayin'

I hope he is "ready to go" home for the winter.

the kid from the wonder years is ready?

Pretty sure BOB already declared Osweiler the starter for this week shortly after the Raiders game. But if he wants to change his mind half way to game day, I'm okay with that. I think Savage is probably better than Osweiler, but hey, even if he is the kind of uncertainty this would breed isn't going to help them.

Ugh, just when I thought we had a shot. Ah well, there's always the draft to look forward to
