Cameragate was never called before or again, deflategate was never called before or again, and in fairness to Saintsfans bountygate was never called before or again, nor, now that I think of it, bullygate. The one that has never been called before that needs to be called is Integritygate. where this sh.tbag commisioner gets called out for having none and goes the way of Ramsey Bolton.

Has that field goal penalty that they called for the first time ever on the Patriots in overtime against the Jets ever been called again? Literally handed the victory to the Jets, it was blatantly obvious.. never called before, not sure if its been called again.. and its no coincidence it was the Jets

I thought that was what they meant by "pushgate"

I don't know how you can bring up Bledsoe's contract as some sort of evidence, then have it pointed out that the Patriots moved on a few weeks later despite the very same contract - and then state that that fact is 'baseless'.

Any further conversation on the subject is obviously pointless.

I've heard this rumor and am particularly fond of it as it would show some of Belichick's hidden genius. Unfortunately, it looks like it might not be true.

However, I console myself with the fact that Belichick liked Brady so much, he was willing to keep 4 quarterbacks on the roster that year.

Ex-Patriots OC reveals secret about Tom Brady's first career start
There's long been a rumor that Bill Belichick liked Brady so much that he wanted to start the sixth-round pick over Bledsoe, but Weis says that's not true.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Weis said there was no chance Brady was going to start over a healthy Bledsoe. Weis also added that Brady barely hung on to the No. 2 spot.

"Oh no, no, no, no, [Brady] wasn't better than Bledsoe," Weis said. "In fact he wasn't much better than [Huard]. Bledsoe was clearly the starter. The No. 2 spot, that's where the competition was. We really could have flipped a coin to pick the second guy. We ended up picking Tommy -- but it was really close."

Man I wonder if there is a video online of that final drive of the 2007 Ravens game. That was insane. Our perfect record seemed dead multiple times toward the end, but the good ole Ravens bungled it. I remember the Gaffney catch wondering they would overturn it and started freaking out when it was confirmed. I didn't remember the last long bomb by the Ravens that Curran mentions but dayum.

My top 3 are:

1. Butler INT. Miracle play, brought us a much needed 4th SB. The stakes were high as **** to win after Defamegate. Snatching victory from heart break and relieving the pain of SB 42 & 46.

2. Vinatieri's epic snowbowl kick. Bar none the best FG I've ever seen in my life. This was always my favorite play but I think Butler topped it.

3. Vinatieri SB 36 game winner. Self explanatory, first Super Bowl which was equally as special as SB 49.
