Tom Brady is now the all-time leader in TD:INT differential

Russell Wilson doesn't have a 100 starts.

Agree. He has 70 starts. He does have some decent numbers and he definitely passes the eye test. IMO.

Just looked at 2011-2015 total passing/rushing TD's. Ranked by percentage of rushing TD's.
(Does not include Defensive/ST TD's.)

That just proves Brady is the GOAT. He runs the offense on the field. He leads them into position to succeed. Those rush TD's should be looked at if people are comparing stats between QB's.

I never got the feeling Brady cared if it was a pass or rush TD just as long as it was a TD.

But what a system huh?

I mean after 16 years and all the coordinators that have moved on, you'd think that someone would have figured the Patriot system out and started their own mini-dynasty.
He's only won 4 Superbowls(3 MVP's), appeared in 6 and two MVP's. That's nothing. Call me when he wins 10.

So the answer to the trivia question, " which team had the most rushing TDs from 2011-15?" would be the New England Patriots.......

That would be correct. (through wk 15. Panthers(-2)/Vikings(-5) could still pass them)

And total TD's as well.

You should ask yourself why you need to dig up stats to "prove" that Manning's numbers are somehow flawed. Why can't you just accept that Manning is an all-time great QB and be done with it?

And guess what? The reason why Manning has a lot of goalline TD passes isn't because there's some conspiracy to pad his TD numbers, it's because he's an awesome fecking QB and the coaches trust him to get it done down there over a half-ass RB.

That wasn't where I was going with my post at all but thanks for being hypersensitive. What size jersey do you wear? I'd love to buy you a Manning one.

Hopefully in the regular season Tom can go 12 TDs to 2 or less INTs to put him perfectly 100 behind Peyton in TDs and at least that in interceptions. That would speak volumes.

You honestly think it's the coach's decision to throw it at the goal line?

Tom has passed Gomer for the record, which, while not heralded like the total TD tally, is actually a more impressive record when you think about it. You tell me: if you were evaluating a quarterback for your team, would you prefer to to know how many total TDs they threw last year, or how many more TDs than INTs?

TD:INT differential

The Greatest of All-Time
Regular Season (427-149), +278
Playoffs (53-26), +27
Total (480-175), +305

The Disgruntled Backup for the Denver Broncos

Regular Season (539-251), +288
Playoffs (38-24), +14
Total (577-275), +302

I don't think anyone else is even close to either one of these two.

Tom is still becoming a great(er) QB. He'll probably come back next year with something added and/or fixed in his game. Personally, I'm not seeing any degradation in his play...he's still getting better.

So it's just a coincidence you called out the two teams Manning has played for? Give me a break.

It's been a completely different passing era since 07. During the comparative eras (2007-current), Brady owns a 3.93:1 TD:INT ratio.

He is at 5.8 this season. hahaha

Brady is closing in on the all time wins list too when including the playoffs. He will almost certainly overtake it next season.

Favre 199
Peyton 197
Brady 193

That is not the best way of showing it considering the total number of passes. Rather it is
Brady with 2.87:1 season and 2.74: 1 total
Manning with 2.15:1 season and 2.10:1 total

That shows the remarkable difference that 305 vs 302 doesn't. BTW, Rodgers has a better pass to int ratio than Brady.

Well deserved, He is a once in a lifetime player and I'm real fortunate to be a fan of him and Pats and it all started with Steve Grogan '76. Hopefully TB's run with continue a few more years.

In comparison to his peers, the TD:INT differential between Tom Brady and other quarterbacks this season is quite noticeable.

The median is plus-9; Brady's differential is more than three times better than that, and six better than the second-best in this ranking.

  1. +29 ..... 35/6 ....... Tom Brady
  2. +23 ..... 29/6 ....... Aaron Rodgers
  3. +23 ..... 32/9 ....... Carson Palmer
  4. +23 ..... 33/10 ..... Cam Newton
  5. +22 ..... 29/7 ....... Russell Wilson
  6. +21 ..... 32/11 ...... Eli Manning
  7. +19 ..... 30/11 ...... Derek Carr
  8. +18 ..... 25/7 ....... Andy Dalton
  9. +17 ..... 31/14 ...... Blake Bortles
  10. +15 ..... 25/10 ..... Tyrod Taylor
  11. +14 ..... 25/11 ...... Drew Brees
  12. +14 ..... 26/12 ..... Philip Rivers
  13. +14 ..... 26/12 ..... Ryan Fitzpatrick
  14. +12 ..... 16/4 ....... Alex Smith
  15. +12 ..... 18/6 ....... Brian Hoyer
  16. +11 ..... 22/11 ...... Kirk Cousins
  17. +11 ..... 22/11 ...... Ryan Tannehill
  18. +11 ..... 24/13 ...... Matthew Stafford
  19. +10 ..... 18/8 ....... Jay Cutler
  20. +9 ...... 19/10 ...... Marcus Mariota
  21. +8 ...... 12/4 ....... Josh McCown
  22. +8 ...... 20/12 ..... Jameis Winston
  23. +6 ...... 18/12 ...... Ben Roethlisberger
  24. +5 ...... 13/8 ....... Teddy Bridgewater
  25. +4 ....... 8/4 ....... Brock Osweiler
  26. +4 ....... 9/5 ........ Matt Hasselbeck
  27. +3 ....... 7/4 ........ Johnny Manziel
  28. +3 ...... 15/12 ...... Andrew Luck
  29. +3 ...... 16/13 ...... Sam Bradford
  30. +3 ...... 18/15 ...... Matt Ryan
  31. +2 ...... 14/12 ...... Joe Flacco
  32. +1 ....... 6/5 ........ Colin Kaepernick
  33. +1 ........ 7/6 ........ Blaine Gabbert
  34. -0- ...... 4/4 ........ Mark Sanchez
  35. -1 ........ 3/4 ........ Matt Schaub
  36. -1 ........ 3/4 ........ Ryan Mallett
  37. -2 ........ 5/7 ........ Matt Cassel
  38. -2 ........ 5/7 ........ Tony Romo
  39. -3 ........ 7/10 ....... Nick Foles
  40. -8 ....... 9/17 ....... Peyton Manning

Anyone who's seen the Manning teams play knows that Manning calls his own number down by the goal line, so let's not pretend it's about his RBs, especially given that his RBs have historically been better than what Brady's had.

Not really when you compare the same era, ie 2007-present, Brady is just .11 behind Rodgers at 3.94:1 vs 4.05:1 for TD:INT.

As for INT% (out of passes, not TD), Brady actually LEADS Rodgers with a 1.52% (Rodgers is 1.58). That is also since 2007.

As I mentioned before, the passing game was much more difficult pre-2007. 4,000 yards and 40TDs was an unbelievable year then. Now 2/3 of the league throws for 4000 yards, half have over 30TDs. It's become ridiculous.
