Tom could get to 250 with a win against Miami.
I know this isn’t a big feat. It puts him at a mere 25% more than the next guy (Manning, 200.) in the most important volume stat of all for QBs.
It isn’t like the monumental, celebrated achievement of 541 dome TD passes, which surpasses the next guy (Brady and Manning, 539) by about 0.1% for a largely meaningless volume stat, often with these TD passes having nothing to do with winning, and with the simple formula being most passing attempts of the most recent era.
So I don’t expect a massive celebration and parade, a run around the field, a videotron filled with congratulations athletes, etc. Brady won’t be beaming with his incredible accomplishment like the GOAT #9.
Maybe it can get a back page blurb somewhere. It’s not like this is a big deal. Same thing when Brady broke the regular season and postseason records years ago and no one cared.
