Who considered Marv Cook to be a better TE than Russ Francis?

With that said the team sure could have used him last year.

I don't think anyone does, really.

Marv caught a lot of passes because of a lack of options in the receiving game. When Marv played, it was Irving Fryar and who else? No one really...

Russ Francis carved a path thru the offense, competiting with the rabbit, Stanley Morgan, don hasselbeck, Harold Jackson etc

Comments:

a.) IMO, I have it... Gronkowski>Coates>Francis>Hernandez>Cook>Wiggins>Hasselbeck

b.) Yes, I love me some Wiggins!

c.) I just realized that I am old...I had Marv Cook on my fantasy team waaayyy back in the day when we did all scoring manually using newspapers.....

The article stated he was thus I challenged it. Crazy talk.

IIRC Brocton's Greg McMurtry and Michael Timpson also were there. Horrible teams....

Yeah I had high hopes for McMurtry, especially after the 1991 season...Timpson would catch an occasional pass that made the highlight shows, but otherwise he was always a JAG.

IIRC McMurtry was drafted by the Sox. Pretty talented dude. Oh well.

Timpson had a couple of good years with Bledsoe but yea....nothing special.
