I found this forum shortly after our first (maybe 2nd) SB win. This whole time Tom has been the stabilizing force for all the negative times.
"Well at least we have the GOAT" - it has been the trump card for the last 20 years.
We've now lost that security blanket. Such a weird feeling, the next time I visit gillette post pandemic.... I'll probably get that butterfly in the stomach about to cry feeling (but I won't cry...funk that...hes a millionaire banging a super model and probably will visit MA 5 more times in his life tops).
However at least we have each other...only we truly know what its like (very much said in Everlast's voice) to be at the top and to suddenly be knocked down and look vulnerable.
Full faith in the hooded genius and still 100% proud to be a masshole pats fan..and to be part of this community. Cheers to US! Love you guys.
