We can still hope for the "dream scenario" the 49ers tie with the Raiders and another team for the worst record, with the 49ers picking first due to their awful Strenght of Schedule and the Raiders picking 3rd in the first round. (That way the Raider's pick in the third round, which the Pats own) would rotate to the top spot in round 3.
Here is the trade vaule chart:

The #2 pick is worth 2600 points, or more value than the #10 & 11 spots COMBINED!!!!
Most of the time the teams with these picks can't trade them, because they sucked so bad the year before, they need something to spark their franchise.
San Diego traded the #1 pick twice, both times they absolutely robbed the other team:
2001: Traded the rights to Michael Vick (insert dog killing joke here) for the #5 pick (LT), #33 (Drew Brees), plus a third & fifth round pick, and Tim Dwigt.
I think everyone here would take that deal..
2004: traded Eli to the Giants for the #6 pick (Phillip Rivers), a 3rd round pick, the Gaints 2005 1st and 5th round picks.
Bottom line, root for the 49ers to lose, the higher the better!!!
