Rain when the temp is just above freezing is worse than a dry day in the 20's.
Overall I think it works in our favor ... or perhaps I am just hopefully creating that image.

I went to the Cowgirls game this year in Foxboro and it was 32-35 rain the entire game with wind 15-20 with gusts up to 30. Most miserable game ever, but pulled out a W. Good seats though.
