Collinsworth is in midseason form.

The Broncos LBs are amazing for covering 76 yr old Dallas Clark and 93 yr old Stokley.

If Ray were around he would not have stood for that personal foul - then he notes they were the most penalized team in the NFL last yr, you know with Ray.

Then we get a replay where he says if Flacco only looked right and not thrown left he sees Smith wide-open for a TD - this as the replay shows Flacco looking right and preparing to throw there only to get hit and the ball to flutter out to the left.

His ballwashing of DRC is cringe inducing.

If Amendola doesn't pan out, letting Welker leave will be the worse blunder in the Belichick era!

He's gone. WW was absolutely great here, but it was getting predictable. Teams were planning their defense around him. Don't get me wrong, I wish he were here, but he's not. This is what BB does. He's morphing again. Trust him. He's been doing this thru all these good years.

One-dimensional scrub offenses make any defense look good.

How many times do you Ravens players will bring up the fact that they should have been playing at home?

I won't be surprised if Clark doesn't retire after tonight. He is toast.

And yet, he seems to be Flacco's primary target right now. How scary is that?

I just don't see how anyone can make an accurate assessment of the Broncos offense when the Ravens are melting down so badly. Do they look great tonight? Yes, as they should when handed so many opportunities. I just don't understand why that automatically puts them in the AFC Championship game. The season started three hours ago.

Because Peyton is the greatest player that's ever played. ESPN told me so.

Funny how a Welker drop was once again the turning point in a game.

It helps, Cris, when the opponent has no inside receivers under 65 years of age

This is like the 59–0 Titans game. It's not hard to rack up the points when the defense is handing Welker off to Hole-in-the-Zone.

Create turn-overs, and make sure to, you know, recover them!

SI.com's front page is say Manning is already in mid-season form...:bricks:

To be fair, this game HAD to be played in Denver. The issue is only that this shouldn't have been Week 1.

That pass to Welker on the flat screen is exactly what I'm talking about. Brady zips it in there right in the gut. Peyton floats it up so he has to jump.

Welker needs that ball fast. He's going to get him killed against a good D.

I know it's a crime in these parts to question the Almighty Belichick, but he's looking pretty stupid right now for letting Welker get away for such small money.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Let ESPN and other news sites think that Manning is the best...and wait until the playoffs and watch him fail.
