Too bad nobody will remember this game once Manning goes 1 & done in January...again.

Punting there is the funniest thing that's happened this game. GJ Harbaw

For those constantly denegrating Welker in this thread, his stat line in his first game with the Pats was 6/61/1 TD. He's had a couple of drops but otherwise a solid game. Unfortunately, unless there is an injury, his chemistry with Manning is only going to get better.

Without Anquan Boldin being around to catch his heave-up-prayers, Joe Flacco looks below average.

And boy are they losing.

They look really, really bad.

I mean, not to sympathize with the Ravens in any way because I hate them but it kind of sucks for them that they have to go to Denver and deal with the altitude and opposing fans on what is traditionally supposed to be the reigning Superbowl champion's night. This just adds insult to injury.

Yea. Don't ya love it? :singing:

Hell I even think I saw more than a few saying they were better than last year.

Definitely. I heard that today. Something about being younger and faster. Didn't look like either tonight.

I think I might avoid any sports tv/radio related stuff until Sunday at 1pm. Might not be able to take all the Manning ballwashing that will occur.

I'm sure Boston Sports media will be ripping Belichick and the Pats apart for letting Welker go.

The Broncos defense can pin their eyes back on every play because Flacco has no one to throw to. At least who can catch te ball

1 challenge and its probably 17-14 ravens. Now I have to listen to mannings ball wash all week now. Yuck.

That Bronco offense will be a nightmare to have to defend. Playing in that division, they may well set a bunch of records.

We need to blitz Satan and let Devin pick off these deep floaters.

I love how the announcers are making excuses for the Ravens...:bricks:

If Amendola doesn't pan out, letting Welker leave will be the worse blunder in the Belichick era!

Tomorrow's ESPN headline: Peyton Manning is the greatest QB ever

My friends are already sending the txts.

Welker again. ****, the Broncos look good.

No they don't.

They just happen to be going against a bottom 5 team in the AFC.

And furthermore, that team is completely imploding and repeatedly giving the Broncos the ball inside their own 10 yard line.

Broncos defensive line looks weak against the run (still) and LBs look way undersized and unable to hold up against the run as well. Gronk will eat them alive.

On top of that the Broncos can't run the ball because Peyton demands it's a shotgun play every down.

Flacco is so overrated. He's gotten exposed against a very mediocre Denver defense.

Peyton has 5 TDs and 0 INT but he really hasn't been impressive. He's underthrown a couple passes and been generally not very accurate. I mean obviously not terrible but I'm sure ESPN is going to slurp the Manning juice in spite a very average performance (regardless of what the stats say)

Well, he's got a 137 QB rating...I know, I know, drop/challenge...underthrows, etc...but that's not average.

Really?

Just because the Ravens defense looks laughably bad doesn't mean the Broncos offense is that great.

They still can't run the ball and their interior line is very average.

That and Peyton physically can't throw more than 20 yards downfield anymore.
