Thursday Night Football....Raiders @ Chiefs

KC's safeties suck...play after play they let single recivers beat them deep because they keep peeking into the backfield while the receiver goes right by them

You're treading precariously close to a "bend but don't break" post. Watch it buddy.

Chiefs started at the 50 yard line when I went to go get something to eat...

...I come back a minute later and they're punting

Chiefs offense's a joke.
It's weird, I can't tell if they're scary or not. They really should be, Tyreek Hill has added the dimension that that offense always lacked: Ware, Hill, Maclin and Kelce is a talented and versatile stable of weapons, and Alex Smith is no great QB but he's good enough that when he's on it should click. And sometimes it does. But the whole just seems to be less than the sum of their parts, because they rarely put it together into an impressive 60 minute performance. If we meet them in the playoffs, I'm confident we'll win by 2 scores.

Neither team looks really impressive but it is thursday night. Derek Carr has looked awful. Even though the raiders are gonna have the ball with about 8 mins to go, I feel like KC has already won. But if they lose KC really blew it big time, they really haven't done much since the 1st quarter.

If KC wins, does any 3 Pats wins secure the #1 seed?

KC has done nothing since the punt return. they are putting their defense in a tough spot with D johnson . They will eventually give up a big play.

The keys to stop KCs offense... Stop the run.... After that just don't like Kelce kill you or Hill/Maclin get behind you.

Across the secondary, they're basically the Pats philosophical opposites. Berry and Peters both gamble a ton for big plays. And I think there's a real debate to be had over the merits of that. Either of those guys can win you a game damn near singlehandedly, like Berry did for the Chiefs last week with his two pick returns. But when they guess wrong they can lose you a game too.

I'm not sure where I stand on it, but I'm kinda of the mindset that when Alex Smith is your QB, it may not be a bad philosophy. Your big plays certainly aren't coming from your offense if he's running it, so you kinda have to lean on your D and ST to make them. For the Pats, though, I think the philosophy we have works better. When Brady's your QB you know you're in good hands and that most of the time your team will win unless you **** up pretty significantly.

Awful "tackling" from Chiefs. Terrible Clock Management by the Raiders. I like it

The only thing with the Patriots philosophy defensively I have is they respect some QB's way too much. It's like they NEVER take a chance unless they are playing a rookie. Wish they would attack some middle of the road QB's more.

They're calling it in boys....

I have no idea what pass interference is anymore.
