Tomlin is a clown who wasted Ben's career. It's Super Bowl banners or bust for NE. Not winning seasons and epic post season choke jobs.

Tomlin and Ben had the same problem that everyone else had. They had to get through Tom and Bill.

Tomlin won a Super Bowl with Cowhers team in 2008 - 16 years ago. His followers are still talking about it like yesterday.

Belichick won 6 Super Bowls the last one in 2018 - 5 years later he was fired. The Jets beat Brady and BB in the postseason. So did the Titans, Colts, Broncos, Ravens. Tomlin with a HOF QB never did.

Its not about making the playoffs and choking or winning records. Those are cheap carnival prizes because you failed to get it done. Terry Bradshaw calls Tomlin a glorified cheerleader and he is spot on. Players coach. If Mayo is like Tomlin kissing players arse and managing dysfunction, then its going to be long wait for a Super Bowl team.

Recently watched the movie about the US beating the Rooskies in the 1980 Olympics. The coach's style time and again reminded me of BB. Great flick. Woulda been even bettah if I understood the wacky sport of hockey.

Mayo seems pretty humble overall, from the ability to admit to media he is learning, and needs guidance from other more experienced coaches. That should be good, but could also backfire pretty quickly.
I've made early mention of his overly friendly vibe - could also lose impact once they start to lose.
RKK made a gamble to copy HOU. Hire young, black, ex-player, LB coach that people like and draft top round QB - hope to win.

But Ryans was also a DC at SF instead of the "Co-DC" Mayo was here.
