There are some beasts at TE coming out in the draft

Should be able to find stud TEs in the second round, but it's tough working a rookie into your lineup. Guys like Pitta and Fleener took their whole rookie year to develop.

time to trade down.....if they can get a 2 and a 3 for their 1 (there are a couple of teams without first rounders, so it is feasible), and then with 2 2's and 2 3's, this is what I would do:

2a - TE Austin Sefarian-Jenkins
2b - DT stephon tuitt
3a - WR Kelvin Benjamin (yes WR, but he's 6'5" and 240lbs and is productive)
3b - S deone bucannon
4 - TE Marcel Jenkins

I'd suggest that Tuitt at 2B is a pipe dream. like the other picks ( especially Buccanon who is a hard hitter).

Ridley is an amazing player i'm telling you the second Pats say he's up for trade there will 31 GM's on the phone.

I will take nothing but a 1st and more picks for Ridley, can't let a guy that good go for cheap.

I'm curious, have i missed like.. whole seasons or something, Riddley had one above average year so far, hes going to finish this year with less then 1000 yards rushing again.

DT will likely be the Pats' top priority in the next draft. I think the Pats will look to replace Hernandez, not Gronk in the draft. You are not going to draft high to replace Gronk when Gronk is likely to be ready for the regular season and you have a first or second round pick playing scrub duty.

Rob we dont know that Gronk has been injured now for Two consectives years when does the light bulb goes on? Its unfortunate some guys are injury prone and Gronk is one of those guys. We CANNOT build our Offense around him anymore. We need to now build a Offense like Denvers where the TE is more of a after thought and not a focal point. Gronk took his time to come back this year it would be foolish to think he would hurry bak next year.

Anybody who think we can get more than a 3rd for Ridley needs brain surgery.

Yesterday's injury could have happened to anyone. When a defender dives at your knee when your foot is planted, odds are you are going to tear something. I don't look at that as injury prone. Neither do I look at the hit that he took by Pollard in the AFCCG a couple of years back.

Why? The guy is a stud RB with fumbling problems. History have shown that fumbling problems are very correctable. There are only a handful of RBs who have the rushing skills Ridley has.

I don't want the Pats to trade him anyway. He is too valuable to trade.

And guess what the unjury could happpen to him again he's a Big Boy and thats the most sure way good Tacklers can bring him down. All I am saying is going forward I would not build our Offense around Gronk.

you could be right. I would not be averse to adjusting position to get tuitt and maybe someone like fiedorowicz

In addition, there may be value in taking a shot on Colt Leyerla in the 7th round

Enter Jim Irsay who traded a 1st for Trent "are you serious" Richardson.....never say never again

As far as TEs its our 1# priority and Amaro is my binky(also Lyerla) with these guys and Gronk back.....sheeeeettttt mannnnn

As long as Gronk can run and catch, Brady always gonna go to him. He's too big of a target.

We need DT, OL, CB, TE

You shouldn't build your offense around any non-QB player.

I'm totally ok for trading Ridley.

Wait and see, there are 3 games remaining on regular season, BB will increase his reps so he gets his self esteem back (hopefully without fumbles) and then he goes very confident to the playoffs ready to blow a game.

Sefarian-Jenkins and Tuitt would have to declare first. Tuitt is intriguing because he has a similar build to Richard Seymour. The one downside is that Brian Kelly is actively trying to get Tuitt to get his degree before going to the NFL.

Kelvin Benjamin sounds like he's got H-back potential ala Hernandez at a 4.59 - 40. And, if that is the case, you don't need Marcel Jenkins in the 4th..

I think that the Pats will look at DT or CB in the first and TE later on.

I think that you need to be more specific when you talk about the O-line. We don't need upgrades at all 5 spots. We only need upgrades at OC and RG. The other 3 spots are very well off.

Jenkins and Benjamin are completely different players.......I'd rather have the 2 big guys as there is a good chance mark harrison will be ready next year

Actually, I'd rather sign Dennis Pitta or Pettigrew than draft a TE

is that even likely?

I think the draft may be a cheaper route and assuming they come out there are 3-5 potentially game changing TEs in the draft
