It's easy, and only takes a few moments.time to trade down.....if they can get a 2 and a 3 for their 1 (there are a couple of teams without first rounders, so it is feasible), and then with 2 2's and 2 3's, this is what I would do:
2a - TE Austin Sefarian-Jenkins
2b - DT stephon tuitt
3a - WR Kelvin Benjamin (yes WR, but he's 6'5" and 240lbs and is productive)
3b - S deone bucannon
4 - TE Marcel Jenkins
Ridley is an amazing player i'm telling you the second Pats say he's up for trade there will 31 GM's on the phone.
I will take nothing but a 1st and more picks for Ridley, can't let a guy that good go for cheap.
DT will likely be the Pats' top priority in the next draft. I think the Pats will look to replace Hernandez, not Gronk in the draft. You are not going to draft high to replace Gronk when Gronk is likely to be ready for the regular season and you have a first or second round pick playing scrub duty.
Rob we dont know that Gronk has been injured now for Two consectives years when does the light bulb goes on? Its unfortunate some guys are injury prone and Gronk is one of those guys. We CANNOT build our Offense around him anymore. We need to now build a Offense like Denvers where the TE is more of a after thought and not a focal point. Gronk took his time to come back this year it would be foolish to think he would hurry bak next year.
Anybody who think we can get more than a 3rd for Ridley needs brain surgery.
Yesterday's injury could have happened to anyone. When a defender dives at your knee when your foot is planted, odds are you are going to tear something. I don't look at that as injury prone. Neither do I look at the hit that he took by Pollard in the AFCCG a couple of years back.
I'd suggest that Tuitt at 2B is a pipe dream. like the other picks ( especially Buccanon who is a hard hitter).

And guess what the unjury could happpen to him again he's a Big Boy and thats the most sure way good Tacklers can bring him down. All I am saying is going forward I would not build our Offense around Gronk.

We need DT, OL, CB, TE
Sefarian-Jenkins and Tuitt would have to declare first. Tuitt is intriguing because he has a similar build to Richard Seymour. The one downside is that Brian Kelly is actively trying to get Tuitt to get his degree before going to the NFL.
Kelvin Benjamin sounds like he's got H-back potential ala Hernandez at a 4.59 - 40. And, if that is the case, you don't need Marcel Jenkins in the 4th..
I think that the Pats will look at DT or CB in the first and TE later on.
Actually, I'd rather sign Dennis Pitta or Pettigrew than draft a TE
is that even likely?
