Considering that I lived in San Diego and have family there, I am certain I know more about Merriman and his steroid use than you do.

LOL, can't argue with the geography credentials, either.

Perhaps you should move to Washington D.C. so you can know more about the government than anybody that lives in Wisconsin, for example...anybody at all. Maybe you can claim superior computer knowledge having grown up in Silicon Valley to those that didn't, even though you may be mentally handicapped.

Geography is all that matters, even when we are talking about controversy and scandal, where those closest to home always have less bias. I guess everyone in San Diego knows the truth beyond a doubt, while the rest of the nation was left in the dark. Even those that do research cannot access any of the information unless they live in San Diego.

...pretty pathetic thing to say. Do your research. If you want to debate, then present your case...not logical fallacies such as some ridiculous half-assed appeal to personal authority.

no one knows more about the merriman steroid scandal than me

i followed the hell out of it

and i still stand behind merriman on the whole scandal, even though he's no longer a charger, and he's pretty much useless as a player since the tennessee fishers broke him.....

and even though he's a piece of **** at times, and a twitter whore.....that doesn't affect my thoughts on the steroid scandal

even goodell stood up for him in the scandal

but when you get caught with a banned substance, via supplement, garnish on your food, medicine...whatever, you're ****ed , because it's automatic suspension

Is that why nobody understands how miniscule videotaping in the wrong spot was?

I've done the research, chump. That is the problem with you. I was inundated with the information when Merriman got bagged.

Do yourself a favor and go back to your Bills board and do whatever you were doing before you came here to grace us with your ignorance.

Maybe there is some truth to the Amendola rumors.

shalise manza young ? @shalisemyoung
heard this too, but not confirmed yet... RT @scottzolak: Danny Amendola was at The Place last night.....hmm

A league source tells PFT that Ravens guard Ben Grubbs has agreed to terms with the Saints.

The five-year, $36 million contract includes a $10 million signing bonus and $6 million more in fully guaranteed money.

Maybe there is some truth to the Amendola rumors.

Has WW signed the franchise tender?

Quick hits on free-agent trail - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

3. Radio host Scott Zolak of 98.5 The Sports Hub tweeted this morning that restricted free-agent receiver Danny Amendola was spotted at Patriot Place last night. ESPNBoston is working to confirm Amendola's presence in town. Could the Patriots be preparing an offer sheet for Amendola, who is a Wes Welker-type player? This is a story we will be following up on today, as it could have a major ripple effect on Welker and the franchise tag. Amendola was tendered at the second-round level, and the Patriots have two second-round picks. If they were to sign him to an offer sheet, and the Rams didn't match, it would cost a second-round pick (similar to Welker in 2007).

If this is true, I would hope they try to work out a trade instead of tendering him, I don't think he is worth a 2nd. He missed practically all of 2011 with an elbow injury, so maybe we could get him cheaper.

People didn't think Welker was worth the 2nd round pick, either.

Well if he hasn't, and veterans seldom do before June or July, it's a lot less likely he would now... He's not going to hold out on them, but he's also not going to facilitate a trade. He'd be silly to. He'd be worth more as a FA.

With Gonzalez visiting maybe they plan to extend Edleman and corner the market on guys who are poor man versions of Welker. Then figure out a way to get three of them on the field at the same time to replicate his production. :ugh:

People didn't think Welker was worth the 2nd round pick, either.

That is true, and the similarities between the two are crazy, but we still don't know how he would turn out. Maybe BB thinks he can be the next Welker and a 2nd would be a steal. But coming off a major injury I would hope we could get him a bit cheaper.

People didn't think Welker was worth the 2nd round pick, either.

Oh, some of us did. Some of us would have signed him to an offer sheet at the price of a first round tender...

...anybody that watched the Pats vs MIA in 05 and 06 would agree. WW was a menace.
