If there's any doubt that the '72 Dolphins weren't the greatest team ever, that pretty much settles the issue.
When you talk about *the* greatest team, I'm not sure how you can put them at the top even today. Based upon strength of schedule I'd have to say that they played inferior opponents, even throughout the playoffs. That was a pretty putrid year for the NFL except for the Dolphins.
