The ONE question I want asked and answered by the media about framegate

I don't recall the specifics of each case.

I think Bill Nye was more in the vein of, besides being a Seahawks homer, relying on exaggerated PSI data.
No, Nye just said rubbing a ball wouldn't cause inflation and deflation.
This moron was the guy who didn't understand how to do the calculation.

When it comes to Brady's accomplishments, the PR train left the station, depending on your degree of pessimism, either in January 2015 or September 2007.

I firmly believe that Tom Brady will be vindicated by those who write the history of this team and this era 15--20 years from now, but, for today's audience, there's not much we can do but state the truth as we know it and the facts as we know them and then prepare to be mocked.

Things will be a little easier for us should Judge Berman vacate Goodell's ruling, but even that is not going to do much good among the vast majority of fans, who will spin conspiracy and other theories to explain away the ruling. Our task will be a lot harder if Berman chooses to rule narrowly and decide that the CBA lets Goodell get away with what he did.

But, in the end, I believe that history will vindicate Brady.

Remember the typical sports fan/media type thinks that Danny Ainge bit Tree Rollins.

Facts just don't matter to the extent that they should.

Ugh, you had to remind me of that! They even had video of the incident but it didn't matter. Freakin' **** Vitale, who doesn't even cover the NBA, rants and raves about it being the opposite way around and everyone just believes him. Ainge gets booed out of every opponent's stadium for the rest of his career for that lie but no one cared. Drove me crazy for the longest time and I guess it still does...

Getting an honest answer out of the league would be more important, but I'd like to see the media answer a question:

"With a few exceptions, the majority of local and nation media members have ignored lies, inconsistencies, and misinformation spread by the NFL. If a player or coach/manager said he was late for a game/missed a practice because of reason X and it was discovered he was really late/missing because of reason Y, that story would get plenty of attention and everyone would have an opinion on it. The NFL office is engaged in the same sort of behavior, except on a larger scale and with dubious motives, so why are you ignoring it?"

I think we all have our ideas why that is, but an admission by the media would be nice.
