If we don't take him, it will be interesting to see just how far Campbell falls. Membou probably jumps him, Banks maybe as well. Campbell has been invited to the draft so they must be expecting him to be picked but that wingspan is a problem.

that wingspan is a problem.

We have a franchise LT for the taking at 4. Let's not over think this.

I always thought Campbell’s upside was at best starting level tackle rather than pro bowl and the arm length doesn’t really change that. I would be open to taking him if we can trade down to the 7-10 range but I just don’t see many teams being interested in coming up. I’d happily give a discount to move.

4 is such a terrible spot in the draft to pick. Literally everyone is a reach. Graham is the best bet if you put a gun to my head but we absolutely can’t whiff on this pick. I guess we’ll know a lot more when we find out who we have spent big on in free agency.

But at least Dunce Mayo got a win to end the season

Free agency will definitely dictate a lot. Its a shame the WR AND LT options have dwindled a bit.

There may not be a single WR in free agency to upgrade the WR Corp, and if Stanley re-signs, we're stuck with Cam Robinson as the only LT option. Upgrade for sure but not really a standout.

The draft may be the best option for LT and WR, which is disappointing withiut elite options at either.

The last time Mike Vrabel coached in the NFL his Titans selected Peter Skoronski at 11th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.

He was one of the top ranked OT in the draft class (CBS had him No. 1 in the link above). Played LT at Northwestern. Highest pass blocking rating in the country in 2022 per PFF. His grandfather was a LT for the Packers. It’s in his DNA.

Vrabel took him and he was announced as an offensive tackle.

The Titans needed help at LT but Vrabel still opted to make Skoronski their starting LG instead. Skoronski’s arm length measured at 32.25. I’d venture to guess Vrabel would be open to adding Will Campbell to this team but not at #4, perhaps with a trade down.

I’m content to leave a big swing at WR to next off season and find a sticking plaster like Kupp now and take Noel in the 3rd. My hope for FA and the draft was to find some foundation line pieces.

Sadly my optimism is dwindling. The best course of action would be to be aggressive on the best players in free agency - mostly on the defensive side of the ball and find some sort is sticking plaster at tackle. Then I would look to aggressively trade down in the draft, at a discount if necessary, and get as many top 50 picks as possible.

isn’t he less likely to want to take Campbell after his Skronski experience. They drafted him to play tackle and then had to move him to guard because of his arm length.

It’s not like we don’t need an LG cause we do, and Campbell could end up as a pro bowler guard, but let’s hope vrabs learned a lesson there.

I am of the opinion that this is a good thing.

If there's no trade partner.

The pick is Mason Graham.

Nothing to lose sleep over.

He has question marks of his own over arm length and coming in undersize.
I think I'm with you. If we have to pick at 4 and Carter and Hunter are gone, I'm still going with Campbell. His "downside" is a pro bowl guard. That may not be sexy 4th overall but sure helps your football team. I still think he can be a tackle.

Graham went to HS from my area(he actually went to HS with Tet McMillan). He's really good. I just never thought he was a true Game wrecker like some are making him out to be. He wouldn't be a bad pick at 4. He's got a high floor, like Campbell. But is a just "good" DT a better pick at 4 than a great guard?

For the team in its current state, I prefer the OL. Especially with what's available in FA on the DL(and not available at OL).

There was a story this weekend about how we’re targeting leaders and high character players this year. That’s why I think Campbell may still end up being the pick as well as his LG chops as you say.

Surprised by the 9.5 hand. Looks like some of the smallest for OT? Ersery at 9.5 too

With Campbell, I’m not taking him IF Hunter or Carter are still on the board.

But I like him comparably better than taking Graham at 4. He has his own size concerns. Who else would you take at 4 besides these two?

I would l Ike to ask: is there anyone you all think at tackle could rise into the top 10? Thoughts on Simmons if he looks healthy?

Armand Membou.

Armand Membou.
Forgot about him.

This gets to a point where you have to genuinely ask how many guys this year are truly top 10 talents.

I like the total depth in this class, but there’s only only 3-4 top 10 worthy guys. It has to make us reconsider turning our noses on Campbell as a prospect.

Do you take a guy who may have to switch to guard, but truly is the only linemen that’s arguably a top 10 talent? Or do you reach for a tackle that you see more as a mid first round kinda guy?

What’s so frustrating is that there’s a ton of tackles that feel like mid to late 1st round guys, but you really take a gamble that they’re all gone by pick 38.
