Everyone hates that play call on 3rd down unless it's complete. There was this exact same discussion by many people on this board and in the media last year after one game that I don't recall.

Absolutely awful call. This is what makes me nuts about MacDaniels, stupid sh.t like that. They should have run it twice.

I never get people complaining about a bad call when it would have been a big play if the ball was a few inches shorter.

They have defended the inside runs okay. Its the pass catching backs who have killed them and continue to kill them.

The Patriots DL is too readily moved from the LOS. That needs to change as the season progresses.

As much as i love Edelman that is exactly why i say we need a tall, big play receiver on the outside to make those. Edelman usually can do just about everything else but be a viable deep outside option because of the lack of height.
