just got in from the Razor...look, help me out...I'm scared out of my wits...I think JJ Watt followed me....

Great crowd tonight, I am so jealous! Must have been amazing.

No disrespect to anyone else that posts here, even the long lost great Box, but Jays is by a million miles the best contributor to this forum.

Love it when he starts talking X's and O's.

You'll get no argument from me. I'm an amateur, as are most here. Jay is a professional. Dude knows more than the folks broadcasting the games, by a long shot, though that's not saying much.

Ah - forgot to say Kyle Arrington is really doing great when given the opportunity, love to see a guy who had a rough stretch of games bringing some quality play to the table.

Arrington has really turned it around. I had pretty much given up on him, and now he's playing like a stud. Playing within the context of a structure has made a huge different to his performance.

I love how Gruden is going on and on about how not having Garrett Graham was a big difference maker in this game. Ummm Hellooooooooooooooo!! We didn't have Gronkowski!

Cheers dude.

I love Jay's work, both here and on the podcasts with BradyFTW! He gives you his take on what he's seeing, and he's a great sounding board who's willing to look at what you think you're seeing. I don't know why he radically cut back on his posting here, but I hope he starts posting more frequently moving forward.

All (among others) would make this site better by posting more often. For that matter, the aforementioned BradyFTW! could be posting more often, too. His takes are definitely missed.

Arrington's a nickel/dime guy, and he's playing better, and with more confidence, now that he's in those roles.

REay

sat in sec 105 in the 2nd half....saw JJ Watt make the most incredible football play I've seen in some time, running down Woodhead and while tackling him knocking the ball out with his right hand....I haven't seen a player this good since I saw LT with the G-Men back in the day...what a football player...he's everything the hypesters say he is...I'd like to shout out to Bobby Ray and his brother ( I forgot your name, bro), two very gracious Texan fans that invited me to sit with them in the 2nd half....you guys didn't have to convince me, I'm a big JJ Watt fan from now on....and the best thing about him is, he plays CLEAN...he hit Brady at least ten times and every hit was a clean football play...what a player.

Love that guy as well. Freakish athletic ability for his size. And he's really a kid at age 23.

It will be interesting to see how the line handles the Smiths next week.

I think his recent play has gone to show that many on this board were right. Arrington is a good footballer, good special teamer and will perform most tasks well.

But... if you put to much responsibility on him I.E #1 or 2 CB throughout a season and throughout most games he will be found out.

I still think he has alot to offer this team and his level of play has definately increased in his role in the slot.

Fingers crossed Talib is ok

i have to say i was not a fan of the re-signing of Donte Stallworth but he came up with a big play, great win by the pats

I don't know if it showed on the tube, but big Vince damn near had another INT tonight...he's just such a freak...do you realize the pounding he takes all night and yet he just keeps grinding every play...the decision to sign him, in hindsight, looks Einsteinian....and another thing...I cried all season for the first half about the lack of blitzing...I guess they finally decided to unleash one of the linebackers every other play, and tonight it was our main man Mayo....I really believe his hits took Schaub's heart away in the third quarter...I CANNOT wait to see the tape of this game.

Joker, if you could do me a favor after you're done watching...

Let me know if you think Vollmer wore down as the game went on, or if you think it was just individual plays throughout that he had to struggle through.

I couldn't really tell anything about the line from my vantage point except that I saw Watt run right past the flailing arms of Solder on one play and plant Brady just as he released the ball...and I saw Watt abuse Connelley on a stunt...that Texans defensive front seven is no joke, no matter what the score indicates. Brady took a pounding all night and yet he stood in that pocket on other plays for what seemed like 7 or 8 seconds and made plays. I'm done ever wondering about Tom Brady ever again. I feel like a jerk for ever buying into any of the silly hater crap that's been spewed about him for years. He IS the best, no matter how much or how little a homer I am... I saw greatness tonight...you had to see the hits he was taking and coming back like a monster...just contrast that with how Schaub looked...we are one helluva a blessed franchise to have seen Tom Brady's career as a Patriot.

I can sort of understand. When the Patriots aren't playing on MNF and don't have a stake in the game, I don't particularly enjoy games that start 21-0, no matter who is playing.

Like imagine Luck and the Colts were playing Manning and the Broncos on MNF. That would be a hugely hyped game and I would be exited to see it. If Manning got up 21-0, I can't imagine thinking, "boy, I'm lucky to watch this blow out because he's a hall of famer."

Lucky for me I only have 1 dog in the fight!! Great night to be a Pats fan. Best owner and organization in sports. Always classy!!

Do I really have to remind you about 2010?

Man I just liked your last post. You really know how to go from the penthouse to the outhouse!! lol

JJ Watt and Rob Gronkowski are one in the same. They are the next decade's power players on O and D.

really hope Talib is good 2 go. He was holding his own against one of the top 5 receivers in football.

Imagine Watt lined up next to wilfork....

Dennard pulled his hamstring at the end of the game???...missed that....this secondary is getting thin

on a side not i got absolutely robbed in fantasy football... i was up by 2.68 points and i had the patriots defence.... figures shiancoe and mallet go in and trash shaincoe lets the ball hit off his chest only to get intercepted..... Anyways yates got a touchdown after the int so i lost 3 points... and ultimately lost by .32... OMG

Solid game by both sides of the ball, glad to see devin balling as a safety.
