this defense is too bad to take us anywhere. you cant give up first downs on every single third down for an entire season and expect to win. this is why we lose in the playoffs. you dont get away with this garbage against good teams

This DEFENSE SUCKS...period end of discussion. BB has a lot to answer for. This is not a Championship caliber team. I am so pissed. It takes a lot for me to call out BB. I'm doing that today. They look INEPT and UNPREPARED!!

I'm not sure I completely understand the theory of taking away the deep threat and allowing the short plays. Deep throws are inherently lower percentage plays, and if converted give the ball back to the offense fairly quickly. However, short passes are high percentage, milk the clock, keep the offense of the field, and gas the defense...

Steelers O-line is winning the war in the trenches. Patriots secondary is in no shape to maintain coverage for long. It's up to the D-Line to put pressure on the QB and it's just not coming. Could be in for a long day if they don't find a way to pull themselves together.

And the Offense needs to put together a long consistent drive to give the D time to rest and take some momentum away from Pitts.

Totally agree. Been beat up all week by the 20K posting club for saying the same thing. Oh yeah by the way our pass D can be worse without Bodden, Sanders, Dowling wasted pick.

Can we be realistic and about that Bill B has no clue how to run a defense anymore. He doesn't know how to manage personnel either. Bodden sure could have helped. I would kill to have some of Bill's responsibilities taken away from him.

Actually, this team is built on offense......... Since we haven't done D!ck on offense to this point, it's pretty obvious the offense has to start playing.

You are gonna score on this D. Offense needs to hold its end of the bargain.
