Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs. Steelers : GAME DAY THREAD 2015 Week 1 (9/10)

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

To be entirely honest, Wendell scares me. When he's 'on', he's fine. Decent in pass-protection, but he's never been a strong run blocker and is easily overpowered.

Throw Jackson and Mason out there at RG and LG, respectively, and let them sink or swim. They drafted these guys for a reason -- they're big, powerful, and strong. Obviously there's a learning curve and it will take time for them to develop, but I'd rather see them out there than Wendell at this point.

Only concern is the center position. I'd love to see Stork, as I feel that'd be an incredibly strong offensive line. But such is life... suppose it's time for Andrews to step up, and should he struggle, Kline would be option number two.

If/when Stork returns, I'll be excited about this offensive line. That said, I tend to think that he should cut his losses and retire. Don't want his life to end miserably/prematurely. But I digress... another discussion for another time.

All-in-all, the only spot I'm unsure of is the center position. That said, Andrews and Kline should be able to handle themselves.

Sooooo... Fitzy working for Comcast now.

Weird

So will it be Mason or Kline

Andrews, Jackson and Mason/Kline

Potentially 3 rookies playing on the o-line interior. Wow.

Andrews is Dan Reeves nephew. Interesting.

Andrews starting tonight I guess, our interior O-line is going to be interesting.
Rookie free agent gets to start opening week. Should be interesting.

Well with the 3 rookies inside we will see a LOT of 2 TE sets.

No Wendell? Yikes, who the hell is on the line tonight?
Too bad about Flowers and Rufus but now we can see what Grissom and Sheard can do.

Who the hell is Fitzy? He was almost as annoying as Felger before I switched channels.

Could we see Cannon at G tonight?

I guess better this week than his first start being next week against Darius.

isn't he suspended???lol but yea not good.
doubt we have much success running the ball tonight. tom's throwing 50 times..

Andrews was. 3 or 4 year starter at Georgia, played in some huge games against big time SEC opponents. He is a pretty good find, I'm think he will be OK.

Actually Fitzy is pretty funny when he doesn't have to tone it back.

He runs a site called TownieNews.
