Hard not to see that. For those thinking Mallett was auditioning to start for other teams — starting to look like he was auditioning for #2 here. Dare I say it?: There's no way Ryan Mallett makes this team.

I know it is against the scrubs, but all the knocks by the media on Garapollo this preseason were not apparent on that drive. The game didn't seem to fast. He was making good decisions. He was throwing the ball where he should.

Granted it was one drive, but JAG looked like the complete opposite QB of Mallett: quick release, read the defense well, great touch, athletic enough to move in pocket / scramble
