So the Lion's defend tackles Woodhead before he gets the ball and Arrington gets called for the same play.

Kyle Arrington can't cover. He got cut a lot of slack last season for, basically, not being Butler, but he just fails less spectacularly.

What's with all the fighting? Even the Jets and Patriots don't get into as many skirmishes in one game.

What is this...detroits Super Bowl? They are playing like a bunch of thugs out there and like their lives are on the line here...

Can you think of a better team than the Pats to use as a measuring stick?

Of course they're taking it seriously.

Wow...refs calling this very uneven right now...and for a preseason game?

Let the the little lionlings have their super bowl.

I wish the defense would get chippy during the play not after.

definitely going to be an unintended consequence for the NFL with so many touchbacks...scoring will be down this year. teams just dont go 80 yards for TDs that often

is that a bad thing? I like low scoring games.

Was that a sack???? Lol if the front 7 can't do it, the corner will

Weak tackling effort by Sanders. I don't mind vanilla play, but I expect effort.

I thought the call on the woodhead play was ok -- once the ball hit the defender's butt, isn't he allowed to hit the receiver? It's no different from a tipped pass.

I don't think there was contact before the ball hit his butt.

It's interesting in that I'm not sure what to make of the Patriots tonight. The schemes we're employing are rather vanilla and Detroit is maximizing their opportunities.

Makes you wonder what BB wants to see from tonight's game.

who abducted the d-line from last week? or was the bucs o-line that bad?

I guess someone is finally showing up to play us. Seems like there is some rough stuff going on out there.

oh look... a corner blitz...and a stop...forcing a punt...WTH is going on???...is BB going to play this schizo stuff all night??...wake me up when it's over, I could have seen this at camp....

Good game for the Pats, in terms of understanding the major weakness of this team - the O-line. Good to see it so glaringly obvious in the preseason rather than the postseason. The line cannot even protect the QB long enough for the receivers to get where they are supposed to be. Fingers crossed Cannon solves this problem but hats off to the Lions, I like their game.

So much this. Better now then later. This is what preseasons for right here.
