If they onside kick late in a tie game that would be insane. They needed to either eat more time off of the clock and make it all about that one drive or have saved enough time on the clock that they would be able to score and have a reasonable chance at getting the ball back.
They should kick it deep. Dumb move on their part. They have the 2 minute warning and a TO. With a stop they could have gotten good field position with over a minute left. They're still going to get it back with over a minute left...just with much worse FP.
I am surprised they are not running with Gray. They need a bigger back to run through. I guess his fumbles in the preseason might have them a little afraid to.
What was more important though? Knowing you'd have to go with Chung as a starter or taking Easley when we probably could have got by on d-line without him and who knows he may have been there in the 2nd anyway.
