i take very little from a game like this

after the two biggest games of the year.....against a crappy opponent, with your playoff seed essentially in the hands of others

get the W without injury and move on

:agree:

If my choices are this game or a blowout win that costs the Pats a starter, I'll take this, TYVM.

By definition a pick is a gift - a bad decision or a lucky tip. The effort gone into securing it doesn't change that.

Some INTs are the product of good play. Some are gifts. these were both gifts. One was off the play of Chandler, which resulted in a wounded duck of a toss. the other was off of Chandler's pressure, which resulted in a lobbed pass that fell well short of the receiver.

Hard to say he's terrible when he was put back in the game when Wilson stunk up the place.

It's not difficult at all. One player sucking doesn't mean the other player didn't. It means they both sucked.

Win. Most important thing.

I have two questions for you...

1 - Is Chung better than Wilson?

2 - Do you think that Pats' must draft a RG or Connoly is a good solution?

Got back from watching in the bah where there was no sound. Didn't understand the Chung penalty rationale. Lots of pressure on TFB all game. He'll feel like Welker post game. Run blocking wasn't any better than the pass blocking. JAX played like they'll be a playoff team next season.

Wrong. Most important thing is being healthy and we are not. Bye could loom large if Talib and Dennard would benefit. Go Browns.

Right. Talib had too many snaps today (clearly if you watch at the fact he was injury)

I would think at this point Bb has got to rest talib and Dennard for the playoffs

A bye would be huge, but I'm not sure it's in the Pats' hands at this moment (other than beating the LOLphins).

Connolly is an adequate center. He's not an adequate guard.

From beginning to end, francis played hard. Chung should be our punt returner. I want Branch to have a 100 yard receiving game against mia so i can gain some confidence in him. Lastly, this was one of the most boring games(not just pats) i have seen in quite awhile.

the oline has played significantly worse since Thomas has been removed. Has anybody focused on guard play especially Mankins?

It's not 2004. It's 2012.

Connoley got eaten up on inside blitzes and stunts today

Good observation. Worse in protection and run blocking (which was also awful today). One of the worst games of the year for the OL with all their starters against a mediocre DL..

Obviously saw and predicted the potential for the Pats to fall into a TRAP game here and STRUGGLE......which they did. We have a continued WEAKNESS in the secondary play that in my honest opinion WILL KEEP THIS TEAM FROM a CHANCE at winning another SB again this season.

The secondary point blank....SUCKS! That COMBINED with the fact that we RARELY IF EVER get ANY pressure on the opposing QB WILL SPELL OUT our demise this year.

Our OL weakness and poor consistency is also another indicator that this is NOT our year. Brady needs that OL to give him at least a little time to make something happen.....and they are consistently (ONCE AGAIN see 2007) NOT getting it done! Solder gets beat frequently......Mankins either is not 100% at this stage......or is just saying "Hey thanks for the big ole Payday......now I can put it in cruise control. Either way.....the fact that the Pats could not exploit THIS defense for more than they got....says something......

Pats IMHO should beat Miami at home.....then could very well be a ONE and DONE against their First competitor. They just don't have it all together this year..........HOPE that I am wrong......

Today, redemption was spelt P-A-T, well...he did have some dumb penalties but two clutch picks to take the game. Not too bad. Sad how far he's regressed this season.

Stop crying, please stop.

Life isnt pretty with McCourty and Arrington as your starting Corners. Add Chung and youve got the 3 Stooges of NFL pass defenses.

I think injuries have a lot to do with it. Just too many injuries. With Talib and Dennard healthy, and Spikes being the intimidator in the middle, and Jones, Hightower & Ninkovich rushing from the outside, this team is tough to play against and causes turnovers. Nice to see Jones and Hightower getting healthy and playing well, but we missed Spikes, Dennard and a healthy Talib.

Offensively Brady has been ****ty in the first 10 minutes of the last two games. Get him straightened out and get Gronkowski back, this team is tough to beat. A lot of IF's, but, IF they play like they did against Houston AND get a healthy Gronkowski back, I doubt anyone cane beat this team. They need to play a full 60 minutes in each playoff game, period.

Thats was the most stressful game I've watched in a loooong time. Not so much the performance, although that contributed. It was the the constant switching from bad stream links . Then they switched to the Dallas/ NO game in the last 20 sec's :steamed:. But the silver lining is I'm 11-1 on my picks this week . The blood pressure is lowering
