Horrible defense on the catch and hop by Blackmon.

How can the defense play great for almost two quarters and then revert back to junk when the game is on the line.

That has been the mantra for the last 3-4 yeast for the defense.

Actually McCourty is a great safety. Aside from the high number of interceptions in his rookie year, he has been an average cornerback. Even if one wants to insist that he is a very good CB, I would still counter that he is better at safety.

I hope they go for it, honestly. It's not the right call. They've held the Pats' D fairly well in check, and the down-distance is not good for them. Maybe from the 2, not from the 10. They should take the points and go for a stop and a chance to win. Hope the Jags outthink themselves here.
