Yeah, if it was 6 seconds instead of 2 then it would have been way harder to take a knee there. Good job Edelman, even though you needlessly risked fumbling the ball.

Great game so far. Brady is sharp today.

Got to tip my hat to BB, the philosophy of containing everything else and letting Young run around was a good one- granted it allowed him to get off to a fast start, but as usual, his past catches up with him with all those mental mistakes and inconsistency. He is just unable to carry the team or manage effectively.

Considering the game was over at 10-0, it's nice to see the Pats with an 11 point lead at halftime with the ball to start the second half. Has a team ever done so well in a game at garbage time? Too bad the Pats wasted it in a loss.

On a fair catch call, he cannot be tackled until he touches the ball. That is why he let it roll as far as it did.

Granted he should have just gone down instead of trying to squeeze off a few extra seconds...

The score doesn't reflect where this game could be. When Brady talks about execution after the game just think about the drops (underwood, Gronk, Welker), the missed blocks/kick(s), blown coverages (Ihedigbo, White) and missed opportunities in general (0) points off the turnover. These things need to be better if were thinking about the playoffs.

Overall - it was a good first half. A rough start then the team calmed down and did it's job. The D is holding up pretty well and the O actually scored some points in the first 30 minutes. Just have to keep it up and score on the first possession.

No I understand the sarcasm, you're just playing into their hands though by going back in the other direction. Of course most were apparently banned, so I guess it's moot.
