I think this may be to allow Brady some more time to see where his WRs actually are, rather than where they should be. Under center Brady doesn't have the same field of vision as in shotgun.

I am not an Xs and Os guy, but on third and two, isn't it easier to convert if the linebackers at least think you might run?

Tampa is playing a lot of man coverage as I thought they would. They have a drastically different defensive gameplan for the patriots.

Huh? The Jets played man to man pretty much the entire second half, daring the Pats to throw outside while jamming 8-9 in the box.

I think the offense is short on confidence. Unlike preseason they dont seem to trust themselves right now.And Tampa is good defense .. They need a drive or two to feel better.

mediocre play after mediore play. we never throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field. dink and dunk, rinse and repeat. it's so easy to defend. third down pass to bolden??? really mcdaniels?? is that the best you got?
