I know this doesn't make sense, but I think the gameplan the last couple weeks is to "dig a big hole for yourself, and then climb out". Those 21 were so easy, that we HAD to just kinda let them happen.
The ones who complain about people complaining about the d are the worst fans. Like that parent who lets their kid run around in a restaurant or crawl over all the seats on a train.
I think Belichick let Matt Patricia run the D this year and it shows. The Pats defense is as fundamentally bad as the Eagles defense was, both run by rookie coordinators.
