Might want to look at those game films a bit closer. Much of Brady's playoff issues have been self-inflicted.
Seems to me ever since the focus of this organization became all about Brady ala the Colts and Manning this team hasn't won anything. I wish BB would remember that as he's passing on badly needed pass rushers in order to draft OL projects.

Define "project". Aren't all DEs still available also "projects"?

Dante's worked out Castonzo at BC's pro day...and we all know Dante's voice is respected when it comes to OL.

I'm not upset with the Solder pick at all. I'll admit Cam Jordan was my top choice, but Solder was being mocked to the Lions at 13 for a LONG time (not to mention, Jordan is still on the board).

5 sacks and 21 pressures in 1400 pass plays? If that stat is true, then Belichick did what he says he always does -- VALUE PICK.

No way Solder would have been available at #28.

Taking Solder early was a smart move - Belichick drafts based on what alternative players are left in the same grouping. This year's OT class is slim so it makes sense to take the OT first, then go after the remaining D-linemen that are still high grades with your later picks.
