Just today Screamin' Stephen A. Smith was minimizing the accomplishment of 8 straight AFC Conference finals appearances,

because, and paraphrasing here, playing in the awful AFCE gives them a playoff berth and hands them nearly enough easy victories to get a bye, so you are telling me they won one game 8 times in a row... not impressed.
