It was the slap upside the head that McDaniels/Brady needed.
On a day where there no longer was a Rob Gronkowski, no Dobson, no Thompkins, MDaniels/Brady had a 55-22 pass-to-run ratio against a team with an excellent secondary but merely 18th against the run. Somehow, Hoomanawanui actually caught a TD early in the game. That last loss, depending on what happens later today, may have cost the Patriots home field for the AFCCG.
Obviously, the light went on in McDaniels/Brady's heads because the switch was thrown and the following 3 games.
So the Pass-Run ratio almost flipped from 55-22 in Miami to:
26-34 Baltimore
24-43 Buffalo
25-42 Indianapolis
Turning point? Perhaps.
